Junior Sculling Camp

Class description: The Junior Sculling Camp program offers students an orientation to the sculling equipment, demonstration of the rowing stroke (each rower uses two oars), boat handling and safety. Sessions will be given in a 2x (double scull), 4x (a quad scull) at the start of the sessions. After students will be introduced to rowing in a 1x (single) recreational scull. The program will be organized and coached by Coach Mike Vertullo, of Winter Park High School rowing program.

Prerequisite: The class is only open to scholastic rowers who have been previously or currently involved with a sweep or sculling program in high school or club program.

Class size will be limited to 6 to 10 students.

Cost: $250. Due to the limited class size, registration will guaranteed when payment is received by the Orlando Rowing Club. Payment may be made with the on line Pay Pal account or payment may be mailed to the Orlando Rowing Club P.O. Box listed on the web site. Obviously the Pay Pal method is more immediately recognized.
