Guest Rowers

ORC is always pleased to welcome experienced guest rowers. It is our pleasure to offer a home away from home for visiting rowers, especially from colder climates. We often host northern college crews during the winter.

Please review our Guest Rower Policy and contact us in advance so we can meet you at the boathouse for your first row. We ask that you sign an ORC waiver, get acquainted with our traffic pattern around Lake Fairview, familiarize yourself with our equipment and procedures to log in and out of the boathouse.

All experienced guests are invited for one free row. If you would like to row more frequently during your stay, a $25 fee will be applied. This will allow you to row as often as your schedule allows for up to two weeks.

Our guest equipment includes: six medium-weight singles; one heavyweight single; one lightweight single and several training singles. We also have three doubles and one pair for use.

Let us know when your schedule allows you to row the first time, and an authorized ORC member will meet you at our facility. We look forward to having you row with us.

If your crew is interested in visiting Florida and would like to temporarily train out of our boathouse at Lake Fairview, we can also make those arrangements.
